Production and technology
One of the defining points of production is selecting the right production technology, with which our goal is to produce quality products at the lowest possible prices. At VIDEOTON Battery Technologies Kft., We have never compromised on innovation or technological development. Thanks to this, we offer a wide range of different technologies so that we can provide the most suitable one for you in every case.
Cell welding – resistance welding is performed with manual, semi-automatic and customized robotic welding machines. At our Kaposvár plant, also laser technology is available.
Soldering – done manually or on a production line with semi-automatic and/or custom-made machines.
Assembly – production is done on our own designed and constructed automatic and semi-automatic, robotic assembly lines. On request, we also provide poka-yoke assembly jigs, manual assembly and automated or semi-automatic production.
Screwdriving – automatic, machine, manual, electric or pneumatic according to customer requirements. We use industry 4.0 smart solutions in this area as well.
Wire and cable machining – cutting, crimping and soldering operations.
Tampo printing and hot stamping – if required, we provide tampo printing in one or more colors on different surfaces (plastic, metal, etc.). Solving special tamponing positions according to the needs of the customers.
Ultrasonic welding – fixing and sealing the plastic parts with ultrasonic welding, after fixing the cells mechanically.
Charging – our NiMH and Li-ion cells and battery packs are charged at automatic, computer-controlled charging stations. The measured values are stored, and in the case of battery packs, a cell balance test is also performed.
Laser Product Marking – inscriptions, icons, unique IDs and QR Codes for compliance with standards and traceability.
Testing – we run tests on the manufactured products 100% either in our separate test laboratory or with our self-developed measuring software built into the production lines. Complex tests are performed with individually programmed target devices according to the customer's needs. Measurements of any complexity can be solved from the impedance test to discharge.
Packaging – batteries and accumulators intended for everyday use are packed with traying, blistering and individual plastic rotating packaging. During shrink wrapping, an oven solution is used for individual batteries and a tunnel automat is available for mass-produced products.
